alpha client update, unable to complete the update

Riot, I've been trying to figure out how to get my alpha client summoner icon. I logged into the alpha client quite frequently when I was first invited to help test it out. Now I've tried logging on to it today as it says in the 6.22 patch notes if you log on to the alpha before the 15th then you'll receive your summoner icon. The alpha client said it needed an update and I've tried twice to update it but every time I try the update gets stuck at 762.6 mb out of 783 mb or something close to that. I'm unsure how to go about getting this fixed so I can hop on and secure my alpha summoner icon!
