Irelia Dash... doesn't work on Kalista Roaming Minion/Ward

Was disappointed as we had a Kalista in ARAM use her Roaming Skull..whatever to gain vision advantage in our brush. Several times I tried to utilize Irelia's Dash to take it out but the dash doesn't work. For some reason her roaming ward isn't considered a valid target. I'm not sure, but I believe she can do this with Zyra plants? How is this any different?

I'm pretty sure Kalista's roaming ghost things are actually untargetable and unaffected by any spell, even if the spell is treated like an auto attack like Irelia's Q. You can only hurt it by using actual auto attacks.

Zyra's plants, on the other hand, are affected by spells, and thus can be targeted by Irelia's Q.
