Gromp Stole My Smite

[GAMEPLAY] Trying To Smite Gromp During His Beginning Animation Nullifies Smite

If you are trying to spam Smite on Gromp before his spawn so that you can smite the next jungle minions early on then you will be disappointed. I managed to Smite Gromp while his animation was still a mushroom just after spawn and found myself confused, as no damage had been done to Gromp but I had one less Smite.

1. Go to Gromp's camp
2. Spam Smite in the location where the mushroom spawns (I did this with smart-cast turned off)
3. Lose one charge of Smite and deal no damage to Gromp

I have only done this once.
