Auto Attacks not doing any damage

Since the last patch I've noticed that my auto attacks sometimes deal zero damage. At first I thought it was just a ping issue, but I've seen other people bring up the exact same bug on the GameFAQs forum, so I figured I'd post it here.

While playing as Jinx, sometimes I'll fire off a rocket while standing in place, I'll watch it hit the minion and blow up, but no damage is dealt. I've had the same thing happen with Gangplank's auto attack, and others have reported the same thing happening with Caitlyn and Master Yi.

It's not a matter of being blinded or stutter-stepping, either, because it's happened to me when I'm alone in lane farming minions. I've only had this happen to me while playing Gangplank and Firecracker Jinx, but considering that others have had the same issue on other champs and skins, I doubt that's the issue.
