Client forced me into dodging despite me NOT dodging

So I was queued up for a normal draft game, with Mid and Support as my preferred roles. The queue placed me as Bot (ADC), so I picked Caitlyn since my preferred roles weren't available. Seconds after I picked her, I was booted out of the game and given a 15 minute penalty for dodging. I had ZERO intention of dodging, and I picked a champ for the role I was assigned despite it not being one of my two preferences. This happened after I got into a queue for Mid, declared Veigar as my preferred champ, and the enemy team picked Veigar, so I picked Xerath, and then I was booted from the game and given a dodge penalty of 5 minutes. WTF? I had ZERO intention of dodging either game, and picked appropriate champions for my assigned roles, but was STILL booted out of the game WITHOUT my consent and PENALIZED for dodging despite NOT dodging. What on earth is going on here?
