So I was playing a game as Evelynn, when the enemy Lee Sin decides to invade when I try to kill Gromp. Long story short, he got gromp but I tried to kill him while he was weak. He flashes over the wall and into my turret (going for an execute I guess) and I ended up getting first blood.
However, I got** no experience**. I was still level one and my experience bar was empty.
I'm guessing it is because I was no where near him that this happened, but it still doesn't feel right.
If you were out of exp range by enough it generally doesn't matter. Usually you don't get exp from very long range kills. Otherwise Karthus would level up stupid fast every time he ulted for 1-2 kills.
Think of as kind of a denying strategy. He denied you xp to minimize the advantage you had. Honestly isn't that bad and a free 300-400g is nice. I still wonder how Lee lost to you. He counters you until late game. But then again I see a lot of LCS wannabees playing him who have 0 clue about his mechanics and how to use him right.
