I have been reporting every crash on MacOS through bugsplat and you guys seem to not be prioritizing fixes for MacOS Sierra because its the same stack trace every damn time.
Can we get some love in MacOS? Some fixes? Some improvements? Maybe Metal 2 support? APFS improvements? But atleast some crash fixes?
since i upgraded to High Sierra i cant play any more. in every single match at some point the screen goes black but the game is not crashed. i have to shut down the app, then run it again, but 5 min later again the screen goes black. and if the screen doesn't go black stuff in the rift start disappearing, like invisible minions, invisible icons, black holes on the ground. i cant play any more.
I couldn't agree more! We need METAL 2 support. I'm getting crash every time i die on mac os high sierra.
Hi there, same problems here on iMac with nvidia graphic card.
No more problems with this thing: installed Mac os last nvidia driver. http://www.nvidia.com/download/driverResults.aspx/126538/en-us My Mac is now a PC ;-)
No more: frame drops, screens with black areas... I can play ranked again!
Agree!! Riot please!! My macbook ran league perfectly fine and once i updated to macOS High Sierra the entire game was constantly lagging no matter how good my internet was.
crashes in 2 of 5 games since MacOS High Sierra. sometime more than once in a single game. Come on Riot

hi guys, every game so far crashed within 3 minutes. please, this is so unfair, the champ doesn't even go back. it's not due to performace. I know I suck for playing on Mac, but cmon, I still wanna play a decent game. PLEASE FIX...

Fix that is just unplayable, you play on midlane and min3 your enemy is 1-0 with +25 cs...

i had this exact issue (1-5 mins, crash, reconnect, fine) the day i installed high sierra. tried it for a week, did the whole support ticket > hex tech > full restore etc. nothing worked.
eventually downgrade to el capitan, zero issues for the last 3 months.
"upgraded" last night, had the issue in 4/5 games.
I'm going to make this clear: THERE IS NO WORKAROUND OR SOLUTION TO THIS OTHER THAN DOWNGRADING YOUR OS.
sadly this a convoluted and time consuming process, especially if you want to go pre-sierra (let alone high-sierra) altogether.
get kernel panics weekly. so old. $100s of dollars wasted on a game I can't even play unless I go spend more money an a windows computer. siggghhhh.....

Same here, my game crashs everytime and when it doesnt crash my champion is laggy its pretty impossible to play in good conditions. I already got 10 games in leavebuster because of lag/crash issues
Over the course of 4-5 games today, both ARAM and Normal Draft I experienced a black screen immediately after the countdown timer on draft ended. I downloaded the new Mac OS High Sierra two days ago and the game was working fine with the new software yesterday except for a few issues with low FPS. Then today I could not play any games of any kind. I also downloaded the PBE to see if that client experienced the same issue and it did. Then I uninstalled and reinstalled the regular client to check if that could solve the issue but it did not

my game randomly freezes making it unable to lock champs in ranked games since high sierra upgrade. also FPS is capped at 60, no matter what i try. Borderless mode is unusable for a looong time already (patch 7.something) and i can't get it to cover all screen unless i chose "fullscreen".
TL;DR : Give mac users some more love riot !

I upgraded my macbook pro yesterday, played a couple of norms games, everything fine. When I played my first ranked game however, my game crashed 3 times in a row which caused the whole team to lose... and I was doing so good prior to the crashes... I later found out Riot doesn't care or compensate for user-based crashes, I'm scared to play another ranked game, I don't know what to do. Riot please help.
Same issues here. Game crashes consistently at least one per game. The client stays open, but the actual individual window made for the game (that goes full screen) closes. This is getting extremely frustrating as it has been happening for weeks now since upgrading. This NEEDS to be fixed.
Having same problems every time I get into a game I disconnect after about 3 min and it's really annoying and making me not really want to play

Probably 25% of the time, the game will just straight up crash about 3 minutes into the game, forcing me to reconnect. Hopefully Riot can find a fix to this soon.

I have lost 7 ranked games because of crashes, where the enemy team gets a huge lead out of it and my champion STAYS STILL, meaning my death while I look at my desktop background. I really cannot express how angry I feel about this thing being going on for 3 WHOLE WEEKS and riot hasn't done anything at all.
