Custom Games and Refusing to Leave.

So, the way that current custom games are, say you enter a 1v1 to first blood. The opponent you are facing either dies or kills you immediately after the game starts. What then? You leave? That is what is supposed to happen isn't it? However what if the opponent you faced isn't okay with that and just decided to prolong the game by staying in it? Oh its fine there is a a leave button! I will press it and leave. What? Game ongoing? Reconnect? This was a custom 1v1 game not a normals, why wont it let me leave?

This is a problem I've been having in customs for 2 years. I recently sent a ticket into riot to talk about it and they said it was a bug that they were working on and for me to post a thread here. What is your guy's opinions on this issue? Do you have it too? Or am I the only one getting these horribly rude players in these custom games.

For those of you who don't know what a custom game is or despise them (there are those that do) I would prefer if you didn't talk on this thread as you don't actually play in this type of game, but all input is welcome as long as it is constructive and helpful. Thank you.
