Why was my first win of the day bonus spent even though I didn't get any IP?!?

I wasn't sure where to put this, or if it's even a bug, but here I go...

I just had my first game of the day with the new patch and I saw the new ban selection thing, I thought it was pretty cool. Anyway, I picked Mordekaiser and was about 30 minutes into the game and right when I was walking through the jungle my computer just froze. (everything is frozen, you'd hear a constant sound until you turn the computer off, etc) So after like waiting 4 minutes for my computer to turn in, I logged back into League and notice my grade was a D- with no attached IP to it. Usually when this happens and I log back in, I DO get IP, even if I was disconnected for almost 10 minutes after playing for nearly 80% of the time.

When was this changed?

I then decided to check when my first win of the day bonus was gonna be ready. Sure enough it read this:

21:37:41

You're telling me that if I disconnect unintentionally for not even 5 minutes and if I also help my team win, I not only miss out on being rewarded for my time spent in game, it also costs me the 22 hour 3 game worth bonus that you look forward to after a long day? Wow, riot. I rather call my friends that are playing the game to surrender so this kind of thing doesn't happen to my first win of the day bonus.
