BUG chat messages added out-of-order in lobby client

When I have a personal chat window open in the lobby client, when I type a message, my message is (often | always) not added to the bottom.

For example, it'll say:

2:18PM KuroZed: im up for a game after yer done... 2:20PM PecanPie: ok, i have a phone call

And then I'll type a message, and it'll insert my message above the last message in the log, and look like this:

2:18PM KuroZed: im up for a game after yer done... okay, let me know when yer off yer call 2:20PM PecanPie: ok, I have a phone call

It should have looked like this:

2:18PM KuroZed: im up for a game after yer done... 2:20PM PecanPie: ok, I have a phone call 2:20PM KuroZed: okay, let me know when yer off yer call

Try resynching the clock on your computer, that fixed it for me.

if on windows 10, right click the clock -> adjust date/time -> scroll down to related settings and click the "additional time,date, and regional settings" link -> click the "set the time and date" link -> go to the internet time tab and click change settings

Same problem, resyncing didn't help. attempting repair

Even if there is a workaround related to time-sync, this is a bug in the client which should be fixed. We should not need perfectly synchronized clocks for chat messages to appear in-order.
