Sivir Shield Does Not Block Anivia Stun

Played a game as Sivir and used my E (Spell Shield) to block an incoming Anivia Q (Flash Frost). I saw that the shield reacted to the spell, blocking the travel damage, but not the explosion/stun damage. I'm not sure if this is intended as Flash Frost does seem to react as 2 separate spells (the initial missile and the explosion AOE); however, as it is, there is very little opportunity for Sivir to actually block the stun. unless she shields the moment the projectile stops, she will block the first instance of the spell and not the second.

Please look into this as it is a potentially game-breaking functionality issue.

As far as I know, it is intended. Flash Frost has two instances of damage and if the first hit pops spellshield, the second hit still hits.

Same with Rake and Shadow Assault.

It's not a game-breaking functionality issue...?

It's meant to be that way. It works the same with banshees and nocs.

This is not a "potentially game-breaking functionality issue," but rather an intended game-play affect. Anivia's Flash Frost (Q) has an initial damage + slow to whoever it passes through and a second damage + stun when the Q is proc'd by Anivia pressing Q again. If Sivir uses her Spell Shield (E) and is hit by the first instance of damage + slow of Anivia's Flash Frost (Q) it will not deal any damage nor slow Sivir, but if Anivia procs her Q the moment Sivir's Spell Shield (E) goes down then Sivir will still receive the second half of the damage + stun from Anivia's Flash Frost (Q). You could, in theory, Spell Shield (E) the second effect of Anivia's Flash Frost (Q), which is the other half of its damage + stun, by letting it pass through you to do the initial half damage and slow before using Sivir's Spell Shield (E), but chances are Anivia will insta-proc it before you can do anything about it. You would have to be at the top of your game-sense, have better ping than Anivia, and maybe even hope Anivia is a 'slow' bird to be able to let that go by.
