League Install Issues

So I uninstalled league a few weeks ago and tried to reinstall recently. The client boots and then proceeds to install (the top left play button replaced with progress bar), but the client consistently either closes or bugsplats when it reaches around 50%, then I have to reopen client, only to find the install process starting from 0 again. I know my pc can run league fine and there is enough space left for league to install. Does anyone know a fix?
