game client not reconnecting

So this is probably the second time this has happened to me. I went into a ranked game and champ select was finished. As soon as champ select is over it ALWAYS switches my screen and goes into the loading screen. However, I did not get into the loading screen and it forced me to lose a match -16 lp for no reason that I deserved. It penalized me for this bull shit... hello any solution to this error? Along the way I kept closing my league client through task manager but never got the chance. I just lost a game where I DID NOT need to lose anything.

UPVOTED, im trying to connect right now but it wont let me says game is still in progress but never gets me to the loading screen. I turned off client and relogged back, same thing.

BUMP! Just lost a ranked game cuz the same thing happened to me. "Game still in progress" but never goes to the loading screen despite client restarts.

ALSO the game feels laggy. In my past few games my ping was fine, but everything had a slightly delay, like pressing an ability then 1s later it goes off etc.

What annoys me is that they are aware but radio silent about it. Its been happening for weeks now, tell us how to circumvent it or take your game down and fix the shit.

the bug has been there for like 3weeks. incompetent riot game. at least don"t make us lose points. this is stupid. I really hate you. every time It's like losing 40mins of your life ( a lose, waiting to get the lose before lauching...)

This makes me so annoyed. Like these bugs shouldnt even be happening and if they do why isnt riot aware? like wtf?! Like at least close the ranked games if you, riot, are aware of what is happening. Like... how do you fail to correct/issue a problem that is your source of revenue (people playing to gain traction towards competition-- etc.)

Same for a few friends of me and even myself on EUW. You message the Riot support to tell them that a lot of ppl are habing trouble to connect to the Loadscreen (game still in progress/reconnect) and all you get as an answer is "well its not us its you"... disable everything you got... yea that´ll work. So we did what the Riot support told us and in the end, it doesn't really help at all. I´m able to play since it only happened once to me, but yea, small indie company confirmed.

rune pages randomly disappeared

lost 2 rank games to not connect

now i cant even select runepages, defaults to "champion" recommended choice

Ok... enough is enough. I just had this game client crash happen AGAIN! I know everyone is pushing to get higher in their ranking. However, me personally. I JUST LOST MY PROMOS AGAIN!!!!! I was loading in the game and realized that the ping wasnt spinning and I was on 100% for awhile. I tried to close the game client, which I could not alt tab out of. I tried to lock my computer screen and end task... literally everything. The freaking client would not close! I was forced to restart my computer. Which once i have done the game would obviously be over and i would have a loss. The amount of BS in that is ridiculous. RIOT PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD FIX THIS! GIVE ME BACK MY LP/LOSS FROM MY PROMOS. I DO NOT PLAY OFTEN AND WHEN I DO I WOULD NOT LIKE TO LOSE FOR SOMETHING BEYOND MY CONTROL!

If you get this bug again it's due to multiple processes of league running on your computer. To fix it should it arise again you need to open task manager, go to background tasks and end all league of legends processes, then relaunch. Also, editing your discussion title to include [Client] may give you a better chance to be noticed. Good luck!

What is crazy is that I am 100% sure that despite me posting this. I know someone within our community has been more outraged and has DEFINITELY reached out to riot about this issue. I found someone said if you go into task manager and close the League.exe client and reopen the client it should restart. However, for some that isnt the case. But despite that it shouldnt even EVER have to occur. Riot HAS to be aware of the issue just does not care to fix it because i bet you it cost them hours in labor that only affects a "small population."

Like the idea its better for car manufacturers to get sued versus have a recall because it can cost them less to get sued type of situation. (despite the drastic comparison its a similar concept)

My point is, spend the time to fix a game that is dying for the rest of us that still play on occasion. Or else people will quit out of frustration. I honestly wish I had a bigger voice and could reach out for all of us to represent us all. Instead I am only but a insignificant person who cant reach out alone. #Strike?
