I just wanna play League :(

I uninstalled League for finals (I decided to try what my team mates suggest every tenth game or so) and now, with finals over, League won't install. The patcher opens up and then crashes after about 15 seconds, sometimes not even opening. How can I fix this? I'm playing on Mac so maybe it's an issue with the Mac client?
