I just got a message saying "An unknown DirectX has occurred and League of Legends cannot start. Please make sure your video card is using the latest video drivers from the manufacturer."
My DirectX and video card is fully updated. How do I fix this?
Oh I have that issue whenever I port league over from a USB. Installing the latest version of DirectX works for me.
Right click your league Icon, go to properties, the click compatibility tab and run with windows 7 service pack 1 (sp1) just guessing from this error and that you have a graphics card are you running windows 8.1 or windows 10 preview? if so league is barely supported on Direct x 11 yet alone 11.1 or the upcoming Direct x 12. Fun fact league runs off of Direct x 9 which is sooo dated lol.
