Full Screen mode acting like Windowed mode

Anyone else having the same problem as me?? I feel like it's probably a problem for the Mac client.

Things you should know: ​I'm playing LoL using the Mac client.
This bug occurred during my first game immediately after patch 7.1. I have settings on my Mac for "Hot Corners" and "Shake mouse pointer to locate". One of my Hot Corners setting is to show the desktop when I put my mouse in the top right corner of the screen.

Normally when I play league I have it in fullscreen mode so that my Hot Corners setting doesn't mess up my game when I put my mouse in a corner of the screen to move the game map. When I entered this first game after patch 7.1 I immediately noticed that the Hot Corners were working and anytime I put my mouse in the top right corner my desktop would appear. I started my own troubleshooting by first looking in game video settings and changing it from full screen to windowed, and then back to full screen. That didn't solve the problem. So then I tried quitting the game and reloading. Still didn't work. So I came up with a temporary solution by going into my computer settings and disabling Hot Corners. That of course worked, however, I still had another problem. When I moved my my mouse in game, the cursor would change from the game cursor (gold glove with the pointed finger) to my computer cursor enlarged. This was a problem because every time it did this (which was very frequently) my game would lag really bad. So then I had to go into my computer settings again to turn off my "shake mouse pointer to locate" setting.

Once the game concluded I exited the client, turned on my Hot Corners and mouse shake setting, and reopened the client. Then I started a custom game to see if the problem still exists and sure enough it did. This makes my game unplayable unless I change my own computer settings which I do not want to do every time I want to play League of Legends.
