Zed vs Fizz

So I was playing Zed vs Fizz tonight and there were a couple things I noticed that probably shouldn't occur.

  1. When Fizz used his Q to jump at me, before he came in I used my shadow to move out of the way, yet, I was at my new location and still took the damage.
  2. Fizz used his ult and in return I used mine. I had still not appeared yet when the shark came up and I died from the shark damage.

I'm not sure either of these are bugs... but it seems as if:

  1. The Q should not damage me if I have moved away before the animation actually hits me.
  2. Zed's ult should negate the Shark's damage if timed properly.

That happens all the time, I main fizz and zed (on my main LAN account). For fizz, I think is a bug in the Q, happens with all the champs, if you click them with Q, and they flash while you're mid air, you reach the original location, and the enemy in their new location, receive the damage. I think that if happens with flash, happens with all the dashes. Probably it should be changed to the way Jayce's Hammer Q Works, you reach the original location, but if the enemy dashes, they don't take the damage, but have in mind that Jayce's Q is an AoE tho.

For Zed, I've play tons of times that specific match up, if the fish comes afer you ult, but BEFORE the 3 shadows converges in the target, you recieve no damage. (tip: if fizz hit E in the very last second for the fish to come out, you're screwed). If you timed your ult right and you recieved the damage, there must be a bug, can you be more specific about the situation you were on? Sorry for my BAD English n.n

The shark is on me, timer going. I ult Fizz, while my death mark is on him and I am still invisible, the shark comes up (seemingly onto nothing) and i die while invisible.

As for the Q, yes, it was a matter of me moving, taking the damage and him still being in the original position. Since he does not follow the champion, the damage should not apply. Same goes for the flash situation, the damage should not apply.

I had the second problem when I played Zed as well, but it makes sense that it does. This is because Zed's ult makes him untargetable, meaning if Fizz hits his ult and then you ult his ult will still hit you. You can however, dodge his ult entirely with your ult. Also, Fizz should NOT do damage with his Q if he doesn't come in contact with his target but he does anyways.

  1. Q has been working like that for ages. Same as Panth's W or anything similar.
  2. IIRC that is a bug back in 4.11.
