8 minutes searching for a 5x5 ranked?? and none found?
Whats going on with the matchmaker? 8 minutes searching for a game with an approx time of 5:00. never seen this before. not fun.

No, the game is broken, it's not high queue times. It doesn't work for ARAM or even bot games. The game is just broken. Why doesn't Riot address this?
Same issue here but I can't find any matches blind pick normal or draft pick ranked?
This is showing up for me too - all queues are 5 minutes estimated waits, if you wait it out, you never get matched - I waited 10 minutes before trying another game type. Still can't get into any games. I'm not even ranked...so it's not an elo thing. :-/
ETA: I'm trying to get into normals/dominion/ARAM, not ranked just to clarify.
Also: no friends showing up in friend list, which never happens...
Im only lvl 26 no rank trying to get aram going, and have been waiting 20 minutes. Definitely a bug. Riot please fix!!!
I wonder if this isn't because of the LeaveBuster changes, which obviously effected whatever matchmaking code the game uses/
Because right now it's obviously broken. I am definitely, proudly, NOT an AFKer/leaver (and I'm happy Riot is addressing the issue). But the queues all seem infinitely long and broken.
Wake up, Riot. Fixes are needed.
I'm getting this issue too, and for every queue (I even queued as a support in Team Builder... nothing, lol). I thought it might have been because I had a little trouble connecting to the last game that I played, but it was an ARAM and I was only out for a couple minutes before connecting appropriately. I hope Riot addresses this problem soon...
It IS a bug. It's happening to me too and I see other boards where champ select screen is broken...that's why.
Its doing this for normal ques btw.
Same thing happened to me. I sat in Q for 12 minutes. I quit and got into a team builder game. Except it didn't load at all once the countdown was over. Just closed the menu. I reopened league and it said I wasn't even in a game.
It's broken across all Q's. Hope riot fixes soon.
Hrmmm either massive server breaking DDoS attack or drunkenly tripped over the main server cord is my guess....its 5 o clock somewhere.
same same. Been in queue for more than 15 minutes for duo ranked.
edit: Chat is working, everything else seems to be working. Had an issue setting up a game where my partner didn't appear in my pregame but I did appear in theirs.
edit2: new issue: I am lvl 30 but I am blocked from starting Coop/AI or PvP games due to lvl requirements... This is probably because riot is working on fixing the issue.
GAME IS NOT WORKING FOR ME EITHER. so imma go ahead and reinstall it it might work hopefully :/ 
It was like this yesterday on nordic took me 12 minutes to find an aram.But now in NA im in silver 4 in ranked and i can't find a q. It says approx 5 minutes but i've waited for 10 and still no q. Q is broken
This sisn't a bug you idiot. I've had to wait 30 mins. It doesn't want to match you with some shitters nor some one who will stomp your team.

ok so the game before this one im searching for had a whopping 15 second wait time... this isnt acceptable. i havent left any games at all in many many months, so its not low priority queuing this sucks. Cant find a game at all.

I'm searching for a bot match and normally that only takes 2 seconds it's currently one the 5 minute mark and none of my friends are showing up on my friends list but I know they are online.
Something is wrong with the server it's not connecting players together properly
Seems they have closed the queues until the problem is solved.

Proof that Ranked Queue is pure toxicity! Lever buster banned them all! (Yes, I know I'm late to the party.)
Que times are high for high elo players atm but its for balence.

NOT RELATED: I was playing a game (that had a 10-second wait time to join), when all the sudden it just froze. I restarted my computer because I couldn't get out of the game, and then logged in and... no message to rejoin game. So I went to spectate the game that my friend was playing in, and it said the match didn't exist. Then, when my friend finished the game, it didn't save to his history.
RELATED: THEN, I try to join queue, and have been waiting for 17 minutes now...
What a horrible mess. For the record, I'm using OS X. I have never had a crash before. Must be the new patch?
I think it has to do with them trying to get the new leave buster working, as I saw this happen in all queue except for Team Builder (that's the only one that found a match quickly).
NA had server maintenance a day or 2 ago, i guess that has something to do with the issue since it doesn't happen on EUNE

Yep the game is definitely broken, i've just hit the 20 minute mark searching for a match. This is really, reallly, realllly annoying.
Now I see a message when I try to play a game "all game modes in this category are locked due to level requirements modes will begin to unlock at level 30" .......ive been lvl 30 for 6 months it does this for both pvp and co-op vs ai 
Actually nothing is working. Game history isn't updating, Spectating is not working. Nothing is working right now.
5 minute wait time, an hour later I am still sitting here. The game is broken. Pretty upsetting really, alot of issues over the past few days.
Riot is broken, it makes me don't want to play this game any more, too many bugs and change, Riot just wants to earn more money but never improve itself...

Though I recognize the servers were messed up, I find it funny that 8 minute queues are "never seen before" and "not fun".. 15-20 minute queues for every queue type bayyy beeee so fun!
