Kayle canceled stuns?

So I was playing a game as elise and I would stun Kayle and she could just like remove it without quicksilver, or cleanse and then she would continue to auto attack and I would die. If anyone can answer this it would be nice I think she had scripts but I have no clue she could just cancel stuns.
