Dragon form shyvana e no damage

Immediately in front of Dragon form shyvana exists a dead zone in which her e cone of fire deals no damage and is completely ineffective. This is an issue for when I ult onto an enemy and combo with e, but they are safe within this region, or if an enemy dashes into me, or if I orb walk too closely between attacks. I suspect this originates from shyvana's increased attack range upon transformation. The transformed spell comes from the outer radius of the new attack range but enemies can stand inside / behind it
