Fizz can e while he is snared by lux q

I was playing a ranked game today against fizz as lux but whenever i caught him diving me with q he could just e away. I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen (never happened before) it ruined my laning phase but i still won the game because the fizz wasn't that good. Really annoying to deal with is this a bug?

If there is nothing wonky going on and it is like how you said, that Fizz used E _while _ he was snared by Lux's Q, then: Yes, it is a bug.

Fizz's E is a dash and roots like Lux's Q prevent movement abilities from being declared to cast. Hence the emphasis on "while".
