I played a game yesterday and after 3 games my border dissapeared. at the end of the season i was silver 4. why am i the only one out of my friends that no longer has a border?? wtf is going on
Might be some end season shenanigans. Do you however have the new season ranked summoner icon? If you are missing that too, it is most likely due to season ending and all people are not going to get their borders or icons for a while. This might take even few weeks for all people to get them. This might also cause people to get their old borders removed at different times and you are seeing the old borders on your friends maybe. Just my speculation on that matter however.
If you still think that this is affecting you only and you have indeed already received the rewards this season and they are just simply missing, I suggest you to make a support ticket for Riot. There you they will be able to help you personally and see what is going on. I have given you link for that below. Just remember to login and make sure you have correct region selected.
Its because of Flex Queue, once everything is back normal its there, if you plaay a normal, its there too. Just in ranked its not because you have to do the placements.
