Displayed IP is different than effective IP

Recently I have noticed that I am unable to buy champions which I have enough IP for unless I go over that amount by a few hundred. When I click on the buy button the IP option is greyed and the IP display at the top of the client Says that I should have enough. It could be a glitch involving the skin boost IP in the new client because that recently happened. That's about it, Thank you for your time and have a good day.

Yeah, there seem to be a serious delay on displayed and actual IP (issue is present in the legacy client as well). Not made any better in the new client, where it just reads "184K" to me - not nearly the kind of exact and trustworthy info I'm preferring. :/

I also have this bug, and have done for several months. The discrepancy keeps increasing, too.

Yea, I've been having this bug for a few months too. It feels like the new client is just a wash. So many bugs and the chat looks and feels terrible.

Quit and rejoin and it'll fix itself. I have no clue why it happens, but it'll appear to give you more IP than it should from your first match after logging in.

This is due a problem with the new client, the client thinks you win first win of the day each game giving you 150 IP for ''free'' Thus on the servers you don't have them so when you log back in the IP gets sync with the league servers again.

Hope I've helped cleared the confusion. -Bladenite
