This is a bug I'd hoped would be fixed in the new store
The old store was clunky, yes. But I just took that as just old designe that would be fixed. I'd hoped the new store would fix it. I didn't.
What's wrong in this picture? The scroll. The horizontal scroll. As a web designer, it's annoying to see that sort of thing when just about any professional UI designed for PC, website or not, avoids horizontal scroll. Vertical is fine. Common PC hardware is designed for vertical scroll. Horizontal is where things get tricky as you either need to middle click or actively click the horizontal scrollbar. ADD TO THAT, that the strange way the client window resizes (you can't resize width independently of height) means even when the client is at max height, top of the desktop to bottom... there is still a horizontal scrollbar.
What this leads to is a very, very clunky store experience on all fronts and makes the store feel... slower. Less enjoyable for the customer.
You guys have ALL OF THE MONEY. You can fix this, I know you can.
Hopefully you guys learned responsive web design. Using percentages and such.
Specifics: My resolution is 1366x768. This is the world's most popular resolution thanks to tons of laptops shipping with that resolution, so I want to cleave the "just get a higher rez" argument right now.
