Tryndamere dies though the cast of his ult by true damage from the new smite effects when he shouldn't die. Really obvious when my CD was at 90sec, trynd doing his ult shout and died.
Also think Tryndamere dies through ult from some other true damage spells, but this should be a good basis to test it.

Was just in a game like this. Smite Goes completely through Tryndamere's Ullt and kills him
Ya i died to this as well last game I played to a WW with it killed me right through my ult 5 or so times could'nt figure out what was going on. His ult is useless right now on rift if the jungler knows to get that item.

Yep, hope they can fix this by next patch, cuz its plain bug abuse when a player continues to exploit it.
I don't think it's a bug at all, because in league there are 4 different types of damage (physical, magical, true, and pure). Therefore, if true damage is part of the entirety of the game than using the existence of such damage is just a way to counter tryndamere's ultimate. In turn, there's no way to counter-attack true damage so one must deal with the fact that their ultimate will be rendered useless if the opposing team is aware of the existence of true damage. http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/True_damage. Good, I way to counter that stupid ultimate, since it has no counters except CC him for 5 seconds.

Agree. I was in a game where I died immediately after casting his ultimate from the new smite.
