Tryndamere dies though the cast of his ult by true damage from the new smite effects when he shouldn't die. Really obvious when my CD was at 90sec, trynd doing his ult shout and died.
Also think Tryndamere dies through ult from some other true damage spells, but this should be a good basis to test it.

Simply means that Tryda can't dive at lvl 6 anymore. Doesn't break anything as his whole kit is about splitpushing to inhb and getting out.
AA Ron Bolakay3 votesTryndamere also dies during ult from Skirmisher Blade's on-hit true damage. Confirmed from testing in custom games with fiora and warwick ults. This needs to get fixed ASAP - otherwise his ult is completely useless post laning phase, and even during laning phase when he gets ganked.

It does break him. Tryndamere splitpush is strong because he can 1v2 or dive 1v1 under tower. This is no longer the case when the jungler comes. If the jungler is smart, he'll just follow trynd and trynd becomes useless.

Agree. I was in a game where I died immediately after casting his ultimate from the new smite.

Sora kh1 votesI don't think it's a bug at all, because in league there are 4 different types of damage (physical, magical, true, and pure). Therefore, if true damage is part of the entirety of the game than using the existence of such damage is just a way to counter tryndamere's ultimate. In turn, there's no way to counter-attack true damage so one must deal with the fact that their ultimate will be rendered useless if the opposing team is aware of the existence of true damage. http://leagueoflegends.wikia.com/wiki/True_damage.
