Yasuo Q Bug?

I've noticed this lately but whenever you do a q while stunned or if you are point blank, your q does no damage, it has happened several times in my game just now an i would've got out alive if i had that last hit with q, has someone come across this lately? I know the hitbox for his q is small but its not hard to aim at point blank.
