fix the god damn game

That's been in the game for ages now. Auto attacks go through even if you flash away. This is because ranged aa-s will travel with the target, and melee ones are coded to do the same, I guess. Rengar has an empowered aa after ult, so it goes through just the way any other melee aa would.
