In game item purchase

Im wondering if this is a normal thing or just goes unnoticed. Unable to resell sorcerer's shoes upgrade into home guards or captains. Only those two item sales cannot be undone after the sale even in the count down to respawn. Not sure if its a bug or thats how those two items are. This can be replicated 10/10 times.
