wtf is with the disconnect aggression?

First off I thought it was pretty annoying that if I was in the middle of shopping, I'd get the "AFK" warning that'd just disrupt my whole shopping experience. BUT here I'll say that I'd be either honestly too indecisive in shop that it was a problem, (the first tme this happened), or a coupla times since then, really upset and "afk" to cool off then right as I was ready to rejoin I'd get this and well, I was AFK on purpose so shame on me.

BUT here's the thing that is super dumb. this morning I logged on because I couldn't sleep, and so I turned the volume down because it was quiet in the house. But on the last game, it was after 7AM and the world was waking up, and I didn't think to up the volume. I was watching a youtube video because I mean I couldn't sleep I'm super restless and impatient, staring at a pick phase once I've picked and a load screen for a minute or few, just wasn't my current float of a boat at the time. but I've been doing this three games in a row now, and each time before heard the loading of the game just fine... but because the birds were singing and the cars were driving and the trash trucks were collecting, this last game I DIDNT here the game for a while.

SO I rejoin and type "OMG I'm so sorry I had the volume down UGH" and start shopping and move to the end of the fountain and buy a few items and then BOOM I'm "disconnected for prolonged activity" WTF it takes about half a minute for the game to close and reload, and then 2 seconds to buy the trinket item and I start going to lane... I LOST 30 SECS dispite the fact that I was CLEARLY suddenly active again and NOT innacctive but because RIOT IS A TROLL they decide that no, never is someone AFK on accident only ever on purpose. Like seriously, realise that sometimes the reason why a person leaves game or is AFK is because of connection issues or accidents or emergencies... and find ways to NOT punish these occurrences.... UGH

like, there are other strategies to deal with "poison behavior" besides strict and ugly punishment... there is the encouragement of non-poisonous behavior. the more you punish "poison" the more dramatic you make being poison to actually become, and only just REWARD poisonous behavior. someone is being poisonous and OH they get disconnected? they won't feel punished. they'll feel devilish.... they'll have an excuse, to pretend that they aren't posion. or they'll have more reason to rage.

(and, just to put it out there, my team reacted correctly to the lack of an ADC for the first like 5 minutes I didn't notice how long, and I farmd safely and well my sup went agressive at my level two and I was like "xD dude I'm level 2 I don't have the combat stats to even farm these minute 5 creeps" and he was like "RIGHT sorry xD" and recalled at low health and all was fine mostly tho I had to recall after getting harrassed for being solo which sucked. but, once I was level 5 to their 6, I was able to pull my weight in bralws and... the opponents FF at 23 minuites or so. so no, we did not lose this game because we were AFK we actually won it! despite my error. but REGARDLESS I thought it was super dumb that I had to be "AFK" for 30 extra seconds because the system desided that buying items and typing in chat and moving in the fountain wasn't a sign of sudden non-AFK-ness and disconnected me because TROLLS'LL-BE-TROLLS PUNISH 'EM)
