I was ranked bronze last pre-season but I worked it up to platinum and was able to play with my Plat 1 and Diamond 5 friends in ranked. Now it won't let me duo queue with either of them for ranked in the new season. Is this a bug that is saying I am still bronze or does the platinum ranking in the preseason literally not matter.
A i Bot 02 votesyeah I have the same problem...idk if preseason took affect or not, but I can't trio queue with my friends
Raka Flaka MD1 votesI think it doesn't matter. I finished season S1 but got into gold in preseason and i cant duo with my diamond friends now.
A i Bot 03 votesyeah but gold's can't duo with diamonds...has to be within 1 tier...but yeah idk I trio queue'd last night with a gold and a plat friend so idk
Raka Flaka MD1 votesPlat. My apologies. I was talking to someone about his diamond game and had diamond on the mind X).
FerrisBueler241 votesAnd in the past I could duo anyway bc everyone wasn't ranked until after placements. So it is confusing me.
A i Bot 01 votesyeah it's for sure a bug since I was trio queue'd last night
Best Aviz NA1 votesI guess the preseason just recognizes your previous rank from the last season, not preseason. Riot please look into this, I would imagine this is a bug since everyone starts fresh in the new season.
