Borderless makes the colors washed

Hello! I've been wanting to use borderless instead of fullscreen but cannot. When I go into borderless all of the colors look very washed out or pale. It is not sharp. However, in fullscreen the colors are very nice and gameplay seems very smooth. Does anyone know how to fix this/why it is doing this? I have a GTX 1080 and Ryzen 7 1800x. Thanks!
