Queued up for normal, ended in ranked

i know it sounds dumb, but i lost 3 ranked in a row, so decided to switch over to normal to chill, when the game ended i noticed it was ranked, so i clicked the Play button to see what was selected, and in fact it was Normal Draft Pick, i mean i'm not mad for the loss or anything, i just want to understand if it's possible that the game actually bugged out and put me in ranked instead of normal
