Xayah Passive bug

I was playing Xayah, and the enemy team had a Gangplank. We were both bot lane around the mid game trying to farm. I noticed that when my piercing feathers passive was up, I'd click the barrels to auto them, and the autos would pass right through the barrels, without dealing damage to them.
