[Gameplay] Unable to use Tahm Kench W on Kai'sa

Just had a really stressful game as where I noticed that I could not assist my AD Carry in anyway except for body blocking because I could not use my W to save.

Every attempt to use the ability on failed. I tried with and without smart cast. I tried to manually click the ability and then the champion. Several occaisions happened where i needed to use W on and I instead ended up using it on the closest champion near her (which was about away).

I tried using the ability on other champions. I was successfully able to consume: 8 Champions on the rift: ALL Minions and Monsters except buff and epic (This is normal)

But not

I don't know if this was game specific or not but if someone could respond with some info, that'd be swell.
