Game Crashing

For a long time now, maybe a year or so, league occasionally crashes my PC, and i mean my computer crashes and I have to force restart it. The frequency was maybe around once every 20 games or so. However, the past few weeks it had gotten much worse, to about once every 5 games (my estimation). I even got low priority queue for the first time in my league life. So I started trying various things, things I intuitively suspected might be the cause of this. I tried closing all other programs, including google chrome which was eating up a huge chunk of memory, tuning down the graphics to minimum settings, and updating my graphics driver. After trying each method, I played until the game crashed my PC again, so I know it was not the cause. Finally, I tried disabling superfetch, which seems to be working, went for more than 3 days without a PC crash. However, just now, the game crashed, although not my PC, and I got put into low priority queue again, this time with a 10 minute timer.

I have asked many people if they had similar crashing experiences, and it seems like most people have. I also think there are two types of crashings, one is the one where my whole PC crashes, and the other is just the game. I think turning off superfetch fixed the PC crashing problem. But the other type, the game-only crashing, it seems to be another problem that is shared by many people. Many of my friends have gotten penalties for the game crashing, which is really not their or my fault.

So my question, I guess, is this: will Riot fix this thing soon, and will more crash-caused AFKs make things worse, like causing my account to be banned? This low priority queue is really annoying, I feel its especially unfair to me because I have always been a model league citizen, I never ragequit games, and I'm always well mannered. And is it possible to lift this queue penalty? Because I really don't deserve this. This is not my fault. Even when I crash, I always come back to the game ASAP and do my best to help win the game.
