client updates then has odd bug

my client just updated and i went to play a game of aram, there was 30 seconds left in champion select and i was trying to trade my champ for someone elses, if they said no or didnt respond by 20 seconds left i was going to reroll then change runes and masteries. However at 30 seconds remaining the champ select was done and the game began loading in. i didnt want to play the champ, i had rerolls, and i wasn't able to change my runes and masteries. I am pretty upset and didn't want to be that salty player in game so instead chose the lesser of two evils, and am afk from that game to report this.
