Stuck in Lobby

So a couple friends and I have been stuck in lobby for about 10 min now... not sure what to do but wait... Any ideas or advice?

Stuck like the rest of the Western world it seems like. Friends from all over are ALL FUKING STUCK IN LOBBIES. How can Riot just not even respond to this nonsense?

Please be patient, Riot is currently investigating the cause of this problem, I believe it is a connectivity issue concerning their server. For now, all we can do is wait for a fix and/or an announcement telling us what the problem is and how we, ourselves fix it, or if they have a fix. Thank you.

so i was stuck in lobby, decided to leave league. exited out, relogged and now it says i am currently in game. when i click reconnect it does not load. or do anything. the first time i clicked reconnect it highlighted itself. and the next and all subsequent times i clicked reconnect, it does not highlight. or do anything. rito pls
