Camera locks and won't unlock

Luckily I have figured out how to circumvent this situation but it is annoying that this happens in the first place. For those who this happens to and cannot fix it do the following: hold down the key that locks the camera on your champion (I think the default setting is the "y" key) and then move the mouse cursor to the minimap. Hold down the right mouse button (while holding down the camera lock key) and move the mouse rapidly staying within the minimap. This should unlock the camera (at least it always works for me).
