Wierd bugsplat

I'm really sorry to anyone I was just in a game with but my game crashed and said it was attempting to reconnect and I just closed the client to hit the reconnect button and it took me to the home screen. There was literally no way of me getting back into the game. Does anyone know how this happened and again I'm really sorry to my team this has never happened to me before. Also another thing was I never got a bugsplat message it just happened.
