"The Darkness Grows" mission not working?

The mission requirement is to get the last hit on 3 wards(Which I have) and then place 3 control wards. The control wards portion of the quest is not completing. I specifically did the requirement on 2 matches and none of the control wards triggered it. Am I missing something?

You must place a control ward in 3 separate games. They didn't write it quite right in the Mission in the game but that's what it says on the online list.
