Can you make it so that self casting Lulu's spells actually self cast?

I don't know if this is a bug or flawed gameplay design, but I'm tired of pressing Alt-E (my self-cast buttons are on Alt) and casting shields where my cursor is. I'm pressing self-cast! I stopped playing Lulu support because trying to shield myself from taking damage before a trade would cause me to shield something else instead. Considering Lulu can E friendly champs, friendly minions, neutral monsters, enemy minions, and enemy champs, chances are that my cursor is going to be over something when I press E, and Lulu has the same problem with her ult going on other people when holding down self-cast (I don't think her W has this problem though). I don't know any other champ that casts on other champs when holding self-cast. Not complaining or anything, it just seems like a simple fix that would clean up playing Lulu, especially support.
