Sivir can Block Alistar Combo
This has to be a bug. i did the combo and she didn't get knocked up or throw away. she literally blocked both spells with one spell shield. this has to be a bug.

When 2 spells hit Sivir's shield at the same time, it should blocked both spells at once.
But still, I can't be sure. I just got this off from Lol Wiki. Could be a bug or intended since RIot hasn't bothered fixing it.

Seriously though, I think the way it's coded is somewhat like Morgana black shield, immune to CC till the shield is gone, so in a split second when something is 'popping' the shield, she's still immune to all other CC's Just delay the 2nd for like 0.2 seconds. But, yah, pretty sure it's a bug, but one that's not went away in...years?
Don't think this is a bug. Like BeatzBoyFTW said, if 2 spells hit Sivir's spell shield at the same time (or at least close enough to the same time) then the spell shield will block both of the spells. With Alistar's combo, you're headbutting them and knocking them up at almost the exact same time, and this timing is close enough to where Sivir's spell shield will block both abilities.
Also, the same goes with Nocturne's spell shield and Banshee's Veil as well.
If I remember correctly they intended to fix that problem with spell shields this year, but it just doesn't worked that well. It should be in one of the past patch notes. Alistar's headbutt is also somewhat buggy, at least with minions.
Along with what other people said about both hitting at the same time, it is possible that the headbutt never actually hit, if you do the combo a certain way only the pulverize will hit.
