Is this a bug? Jax - Counterstrike

Will remove the post if people say I'm just overthinking this or am just wrong. As far as I know, Hecarim's E is counted as a basic attack but the knockback still pushes jax while his counterstrike is up

CC from autos is always applied regardless of whether or not the auto can hit you. This is seen on both Shen's W and Jax's E. It's most notably bypassed by Yasuo's tornado, but it's also seen on all others.

it doesn't happen with blitz's E iirc

Parries are not consistent

Does it not happen with Blitz's E? I've heard of that. I think he's the only one like that, though.

there're like 3 champions with basic attack knock ups so "it's the only one" is a big number

Not just knockups, though, but stuns and other CC.

It shouldn't work that way I'm pretty sure :/ sounds like theres something odd happening, not being able to counter 'on next attack' abilities, hopefully I'm making sense

I know for sure it counters blitz E, not sure about all other cc's though
