GAME FREEZES WHEN I TYPE

so if i type in chat while not moving my game will freeze. I have to exit into my desktop then click exit on the game. Then go back in and click "keep playing" you can imagine how frustrating it is when i click on the mini map to go somewhere and have the game stop moving while i have to watch my character DIE over and over. Please Please fix. I've tried re-downloading and re patching and all the things. Please fix this riot.
