Azir Kit Buggy

Ok, so as soon as Azir was released, I snapped him up, hungry for a more tactical kit with which to slay my enemies. I think that Azir's unique style is by far the coolest of any other champion in-game, and LOVE it when he works.

BUT

He doesn't always work, and there are a few consistent problems I've found with him.

  1. Q-Conquering Sands -When using Conquering Sands, sometimes soldiers despawn mid Q (especially over long distance casts), which makes the expenditure of mana futile. I'm not sure if this is intended or not, but it can basically screw over an attacking or escaping Azir.

  2. W-Arise! -If you summon too close to a champ or another soldier, Arise! won't spawn a soldier. This makes teamfights a major issue, rendering Azir useless. I was watching a few times to see if the turret effect (summoning on top of a turret does a one-time large amount of damage to the turret instead of summoning a soldier) occurred on the champion, but this was not the case.

  3. E-Shifting Sands -This has by far been the biggest problem I've encountered. From even short distances, it doesn't matter how much I spam Shifting Sands, Azir refuses to go towards his soldiers. It seems any time he's receiving damage, Azir's E will not work, and that makes escapes impossible, which I assume was part of the reasoning for that ability.

  4. R-Emperor's Divide -I'm not sure if this is a bug, but nearing death, I've used Emperor's Divide several times as a last-ditch means of escape from melee champions, but have noticed 2 inconsistencies. First, when a melee champion uses a silence or stun skill (for example, Garen's Decisive Strike) the hit still occurs as they are being knocked back, which has canceled the wall. Second, the ult fires and goes through the enemies, no knockback, and takes about a second and a half to trigger the blocking effect on enemy champions, which then marks Azir's doom.

I'm not sure if these have all been covered in other posts, but as someone playing Azir rather consistently since release, I wanted to bring these up all together after I had done a lot of observation to make sure it wasn't just me sucking at the game.

Great observations, I have the same issue with Azir and I've found 5 more posts pointing out said bugs already. His Q, W, E, and R are all bugged but cant be reproduced every time. There has to be some testing just like the one you did by the developers. Later I will make a master post linking all the Azir related bugs.
