Naut and Nami's Ult

So I was playing a ranked game and my friend playing as Nami ulted the enemy team. This could have been a game deciding fight but instead, something a little strange happened. When she ulted, at the same time, the opposing Naut used his Q. The only thing is, it has priority over Nami's ultimate which can knock up. So the Naut pulled me through the Nami's wave and we lost the game. I do not know if this is a bug or if it is intended, but I find it ridiculous on how this works. Q > R
