Recently I've been in a ARAM where I was playing GP as the enemy team had a Sivir. Every time i would harrass Sivir she would Spell shield but i noticed that the physical damage part still went through? Is it meant to block the Magic Damage part from my passive over the GP Q?
Gangplank's Q (parrrley) functions as a melee auto-attack and not a spell. It will not be blocked by a spell shield.
If this is happening then it should in fact be a bug. Just because it applies on-hit effects does not mean it's not a spell and her spellshield should be blocking it, like it does Ezreal's Q.
