Couldn't cast anything

So in my last game there was a period of time where I couldn't cast my abilities or anything in general. Abilities, Summoner Spells, Items, even Recall couldn't cast. I tried both clicking my keys and using the mouse and nothing worked. Everything was greyed out like I was still dead and this lasted about 3 or 4 minutes. I also avoided any contact with the enemy players so I wasn't being Silenced or anything I just couldn't use any of my Abilities aside just autos. I'm just wondering if someone else has ran into this and if they found a way to fix it in-game because I thought I was gonna have to restart my computer.
