Windows notification sound, game freezes

This just started happening to me so its an issue with my computer but idk what it is. It randomly happens where I hear the windows notification sound then my game freezes, I can't alt tab or open task manager but I can log out and thats the only way to fix it, which causes the game to close obviously. What is going on? I have game mode off and ever horrible game mode related stuff off. Windows is trash, and Idk what is going on. [sg-janna]
