anyone else having trouble opening the client?

Hey, I just started having issues with the client not opening. I've tried running it in administrator and stuff, but basically what happens is I click the icon on either the desktop or the task bar and it shows the logo then fails to initialize.

there's no bug report or crash dump. it just never starts.
